Overview

GitHub Universe is GitHub's flagship annual developer conference, bringing together thousands of engineers, open source contributors, and enterprise partners across San Francisco venues, including the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Fort Mason, to showcase the future of AI-powered software development. Barry Watts and the jnsq. team have been part of Universe continuously from 2021 through 2025, delivering across the full production stack, from broadcast infrastructure and multi-stage coordination to creative direction, motion graphics, and VOD distribution.

Each two-day conference spans five live stages and more than 100 sessions, blending executive keynotes, developer deep-dives, and major product launches for both in-person and global virtual audiences. The jnsq. team embedded directly with the GitHub events organization, providing consistent production leadership and technical execution across live, hybrid, and on-demand formats.

From stage design and playback to livestream delivery and post-event content packaging, this is a long-standing client relationship built on trust, technical depth, and the ability to execute at scale, year after year.

Notable Presenters: Thomas Dohmke, Inbal Shani, Satya Nadella, Patrick Collison, Jared Kaplan
