GITHUB UNIVERSE 21-23
GitHub Universe is an annual two-day global developer conference that brings together developers, enterprise leaders, and security professionals for networking, collaboration, and hands-on learning. Known as the “world’s fair of software,” the event immerses attendees in the future of software development through keynotes, workshops, and live demos that highlight GitHub’s latest innovations and industry partnerships.
Hosted at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and produced as a Virtual + Live Hybrid Production, GitHub Universe connects both in-person and global remote audiences through an integrated broadcast experience. The event combines cinematic stage production, live streaming, and interactive virtual engagement to deliver a seamless, high-impact experience for participants around the world.
The jnsq. team, led by Co-Founder and Executive Producer Barry Watts, delivered end-to-end creative direction, stage and show management, multi-camera broadcast production, presentation design, and branded motion graphics to ensure a polished, enterprise-grade execution year after year.
In addition to GitHub Universe (2020–2023), jnsq. and Barry Watts partnered with GitHub on GitHub Galaxy, GitHub Nova, and other marquee MarCom initiatives, providing executive production, video content development, livestream broadcast services, and event support across the company’s global communications and brand programs.
