Universe
GitHub Universe is GitHub's flagship annual developer conference, bringing together thousands of engineers, open source contributors, and enterprise partners across San Francisco venues — including the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Fort Mason — to showcase the future of AI-powered software development. Barry Watts and the jnsq. team have been part of Universe continuously from 2021 through 2025, delivering across the full production stack — from broadcast infrastructure and multi-stage coordination to creative direction, motion graphics, and VOD distribution.
Each two-day conference spans five live stages and more than 100 sessions, blending executive keynotes, developer deep-dives, and major product launches for both in-person and global virtual audiences. The jnsq. team embedded directly with the GitHub events organization, providing consistent production leadership and technical execution across live, hybrid, and on-demand formats.
From stage design and playback to livestream delivery and post-event content packaging, this is a long-standing client relationship built on trust, technical depth, and the ability to execute at scale — year after year.
